Between Hotels and Event Sites on Event Days

If you did not submit a request for shuttle service on event days, we would strongly encourage you to rent a vehicle as cab service is quite limited in the Fox Cities.
For Saturday, please review the tournament schedule for the initial round of bus pickup times. Tab people should be advised that there are late busses scheduled to transport them back to their hotels on Saturday evening. People who desire to attend the Mass at the Radisson are on their own for transportation; the one exception is Policy Debate, which sometimes finishes so late that transportation to hotels and then back to the Radisson may not be feasible. We will give those at the Policy Debate Event Site the option of returning to their hotels or the Radisson.
On Sunday, early round participants will be dropped off at their hotels if they wish or the Fox Cities Performing Arts Center ("PAC"). The doors for the PAC will not open until 7 p.m. by PAC policy. There are numerous options for places to camp out on College Avenue while waiting for the Awards Ceremony, including the Radisson across the street from the PAC. Busses will pickup at hotels for Awards and return people to hotels after Awards. Shuttles will run every two hours during the day on Sunday. Judges will need to plan ahead if they need to be at a Competition Site at 8, 10, 12 or 2. Bus drivers can communicate with dispatch if additional busses are needed at a particular site.
Between Airports and Hotels
While we would recommend that everyone fly directly into Appleton, we understand and appreciate the economic benefit of flying into other major airports within driving distance. Below, we have attempted to provide driving distances and directions, from the four most popular airports to the Radisson Paper Valley. Also, we have included a list of school bus transportation service providers.
We cannot attest to the safety or reliability of any of these providers; however, Kobussen is the Official transit company for the Grand National Tournament. Kobussen is reserving busses for the weekend providing charter service to and from Appleton, Green Bay, Minneapolis, Milwaukee, and Chicago at your request.
